About Us The Wanneroo Volunteer Fire Support Brigade is located in the suburb of Ashby at the Council Works Depot, Building One, 1204 Wanneroo Road.The Wanneroo Volunteer Fire Support Brigade is part of the City of Wanneroo's Bush Fire Fighting Service and is one of four (4) Brigades within that structure along with the Quinns Rocks Bush Fire Brigade, Wanneroo Bush Fire Brigade and our most recent addition Two Rocks Bush Fire Brigade. While relatively new (having only been formed in March 2003), the Wanneroo Volunteer Fire Support Brigade was specifically formed as an Operational support unit in order to streamline the Incident Management process at large bush fire incidents. At present we have a dedicated team of 15 active members with the expertise to provide a superior level of Operational support to our active fire fighters, enabling them to perform their role more effectively, thereby benefiting the whole community. While our primary responsibility is to the residents of the City of Wanneroo, in times of emergency the Incident Control Vehicle and its crew can be deployed as a regional resource. Meetings of the Brigade are held at 7.30pm on the 1st Monday of every month at the Council Works Depot, Building One, 1204 Wanneroo Road, Ashby. Meetings are open to the public and all interested parties are welcome to attend.
