Wanneroo Fire Support Brigade Vehicles

The Brigades in the City of Wanneroo are supplied with a multitude of appliances used in both fire fighting and support roles at fires and other incidents.

The Wanneroo Fire Support Incident Control Vehicle (ICV)  is utilised to provide a forward command control point for all major natural hazards (e.g. bush fires, floods) as well as for land searches undertaken by the State Emergency Service.


The Wanneroo Support 12.2 Bulk Water Tanker (BWT) appliance can carry 12, 000 Litres of water and it’s main role is as a bulk water tanker supplying water to smaller appliances. It also carries a collar tank for supply of water to aerial firefighting helitacs.

The Wanneroo Fire Support Vehicle is required to be able to be turned out as a mobile command vehicle, for transport (personnel and trailers) and fast response with the Collar Tank Trailer for deployment as a water resource for Helitacs and/or other specialist operations.
